Pumping energy from the post-hardcore legends

The Blood Brothers reunite to celebrate Crimes 20th Anniversary
Seattle post-hardcore cult legends The Blood Brothers reunite this year, touring in celebration of 20 years since the release of Crimes. Regrouping for only the second time since their split in 2006, their cult status has only increased in the intervening decades and this tour marks the first time in that period that fans have had the chance to see them live on the road!
Forming in 1997, despite their 2006 split their music stayed present in the post-hardcore canon and beyond. Epitaph Records reissued four of their albums during that hiatus, while the individual members have stayed active in other projects; bassist Morgan Henderson joined the folk-rock band Fleet Foxes, vocalist Jonny Witney formed the supergroup Head Wound City with members of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and The Locust, and guitarist Cody Votolato became the live guitarist for Telekenesis. But this reunion is not only a return to their roots, it's a welcome chance for fans who might have missed them the first time round to finally witness the visceral energy of their live shows.
