The Hives

Why see The Hives?

the hives are back!

The Hives, hailed as the best live band in the rock 'n' roll business, are back on tour in North America, supporting their latest released LP 'The Death of Randy Fitzsimmons'! The sharp-dressed Swedish five-piece has built a phenomenal reputation over the past two-and-a-half decades for their blisteringly energetic live shows, with frontman Howlin' Pelle Almqvist's antics wrapping audiences around his finger as they power through their back catalog of garage rock hits.

They're a band who you often don't realise just how many recognizable hits they've churned out, until you hear them all packed together in their all-killer-no-filler setlist. With a brand new album in 2023 to add to their impressive discography of songs like "Walk Idiot Walk", "Main Offender", "Hate To Say I Told You So" and "Two Timing Touch and Broken Bones".

Howlin’ Pelle, Chris Dangerous, The Juan And Only, Vigilante Carlstroem and Nicholas Arson blew the roof off the place sonically and dazzled visually. If you haven’t seen The Hives yet; stop reading this review and go to where they are. DO IT!!! NOW!!!! ... Read more

If you want to see a band 100% committed to entertaining their fans while providing a steady stream of songs that delightfully overload your senses, do not miss seeing The Hives in a small venue. They played for just over an hour and I'm exhausted. How do they do this night after night on tour? It's obvious. They LOVE what they do. ... Read more
