The Strokes' guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. is back on the road for a solo tour of North America this year, fresh off the back of his latest solo record Melodies on Hiatus! His first new full-length since 2018's Francis Trouble, his latest offering features collaborations with members of Arctic Monkeys, Goldlink and more.

Coming to prominence as the sharp-dressed guitarist and occasionally keys player in 2000s indie pioneers The Strokes, Hammond launched his solo career in 2006, working alongside his career with the New York powerhouses. In his live shows he's known for an equally prevalent mix of understated cool and frenetic energy, joining in the pit with fans and jumping off of his amps.
